Behind the Camera


Photographer, third grade teacher, and lover of Jesus- my name is Rebecca, and I am behind the camera of Saguaro Photo Co.


While I have held a camera ever since I can remember, my journey in capturing memories for other people began 8 years ago. My how it has grown and changed since then! The goal, however, has not changed- to preserve moments in time to be cherished forever.


Originally from Arizona, I moved to the Midwest in 2021. My dream of being a teacher was fulfilled in 2022 and has been the adventure of a lifetime. Photography has taken second place to teaching, but I still take and love every opportunity to continue this passion.


If you love mountains, teaching, Jesus, *real* Mexican food, traveling, laughing, or ice cream- we are probably going to be best friends.

FAQ

How long until the photos are delivered?

It takes *hours* to go through your photos (I take a LOT), edit them, and then deliver them in a carefully made gallery. I know waiting is hard, but I do want to ensure that your photos are as amazing as they can be. Galleries are delivered 4 weeks after date of the session unless otherwise communicated. Trust me, it'll be worth the wait.

What should I wear for my session?

Glad you asked! ;)
Textures, textures, textures. Bring on all the textures, but please leave the prints and logos at home. Trust me, they don't do well on camera. I am happy to send color palettes to help you coordinate!

When can we book?

I hate the cold...do you? Well, no one wants to take photos when their hands are numb and their lips are too chapped to smile. I will only be booking in the months of May through November. I will be hibernating the other months...but I am happy to start making plans for your session any time!

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

That's why I'm there! :)
It's okay to not feel very confident, you may even have some nerves. I will make it easy and fun so you can relax and know that your photos will capture you at your best. If you feel this way, it never hurts to let me know ahead of time so I can help you get warmed up at the beginning to have plenty of relaxed shooting time.
